It was a packed meeting with the TV news covering it, even though only a few selected residents of the town were invited. If you didn’t get the invitation, here it is(was):
Unfortunately, that meeting was time spent mostly on selling the “concept” of a new Highway Department site and it was right behind the Hinchey House. It was taken as an opportunity to promote a Gates complex rather than a passive park. And no one was buying it, as it was easy to see through the spin from correcting “misinformation” to the marketing of a new highway department.
